JDF runaway leaders in big clash

Leaders Meadhaven United will oppose the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) in today's feature game of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association/Victoria Mutual Super League competition at Up Park Camp, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Meadhaven United, who are seeking their second consecutive title, lead the points standings with 42, eight ahead of second place Bull Bay (34) who play away to Police National (16) at Duhaney Park, with four matches left to go in the round.

The leaders will also welcome back their inspirational playmaker, Keammar Daley, who was involved in the Reggae Boyz' three-week training camp in Brazil, recently.

The JDF are in third spot on 28 points. In the day's other games, bottom place Rockfort (2) entertain third place Santos at Rockfort, Cavalier (18) tackle Maverley/Hughenden (15) at Constant Spring and Mountain View (10) await Constant Spring (10) at Excelsior High School.

In the KSAFA second tier Major League competition, leaders Real Mona (40) tackle second place Liguanea United (33) at Jamaica College (JC), Rae Town (20) entertain University of Technology (10) (UTech) at Breezy Castle, Brown's Town (13) oppose Cooreville Gardens (13) at Vauxhall High School, Swallowfield (20) tackle Seaview Gardens (18) at Buttercup Park and Barbican (15) host Central Kingston (15) at Barbican.

All games are slated to kick off at 3:30 p.m.

In the third division Syd Bartlett League, Pembroke Hall entertain Molynes United, Port Royal oppose Allman/Woodford at Breezy Castle, starting at 1:30 p.m., New Kingston tackle Meadforest at Molynes field and Maxfield Park await Island Special Constabulary Force at Cling Cling Oval. Kick-off time is 3:30 p.m.
