Listen to the lyrics
published: Saturday | March 22, 2008

THE EDITOR, Sir

Please allow me to comment on a story in The Gleaner of March 18, 'Send me the report! - Felice wants research findings which link rich Jamaicans to crime'.

I am very caught up by the Jamaican culture, I must admit, that I don't read my local newspaper the way I religiously read and listen to Jamaican news, and music; the Jamaican lifestyle on a whole.

The thing that caught my attention about this story is that I clearly remember a song by dancehall artiste Vybez Kartel explaining the same things outlined in this report.

I think the Government of Jamaica should at least pay some attention to the lyrics of these songs.

I am, etc,
