  • Get tested

Not just for HIV/AIDS but also for any other STDs, it cost just over $1,000 to get it done at a lab. • Light a scented candle

You don't have to sing a song and find your way home, just light a scented candle at night. This is something very relaxing and creates a very soothing atmosphere. It will help to get your mind in a very tranquil state. For safety reasons, try to get one of those candles that is in a container.

  • Revisit something you struggled with

One true way to know if you have got over a past bad experience is to talk about it. Spend some time with your confidant(e) and just vent. It could be about the verbal abuse you received when you were younger or an experience of prejudice. Doing this will help you to understand yourself more and can help you to not repeat past mistakes. At first, it may feel uncomfortable but all wounds need to heal properly, and healing is usually an uncomfortable phase.
