Destination Tokyo invaded the grounds of the American International School of Kingston on New Year's Eve. The young and the fabulous came out dressed in little hot "freak 'em" dresses and the men added layers creating a very trendy style. They were hot!

The two-year-old party drew a huge gathering that turned out to be bigger than the last. The décor depicted the city of Tokyo, Japan, with ornaments, and a little hut decorated in black with Japanese ornaments creating a picturesque scenery.

Restaurant Cocoro catered for the event and the food was devoured as as soon as it was laid out.

COUNTDOWN

The party did not get started until about quarter to midnight when a sea of people came flowing in. At midnight, most people seemed to have forgotten the countdown because they were more focused on the food. However, the selector proceeded with the countdown and some patrons gave their 'shout-outs' while others got intimate. The night saw many couples cuddled together enjoying drinks and just having a grand time.

Patrons were taken back in time with '80 and '90 music. However, when the their favourite tracks cut through the night air, they got down and dirty. A few ladies had to kick off their heels after a while to do the latest moves such as "back it up" and "rum ram", among others. Patrons partied until the wee hours of the morning and it was surely an enjoyable way to ring in the New Year.
