Keisha Hill, Staff ReporterAfter major disruptions in the Victoria Mutual/Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Super League, Major League and Syd Bartlett competitions for close to one month, play will resume today with a full schedule of matches.
The resumption of KSAFA's matches follows the suspension of Elleston Football Club following an incident involving the assault on a match official at the UWI playing field on December 8 last year.
Meadhaven United lead the pack in the Super League with 18 points, followed by Bull Bay on 14 and JDF closely behind on 12.
Real Mona are comfortably ahead by eight points in the Major League with 18 points followed by Rae Town, Liguanea and Olympic Gardens on 10 points each.
Port Royal will have to buckle down in their encounter against ISCF to maintain their lead in the Syd Bartlett League as they marginally head the pack on eight points. Molynes United are one point behind on seven points followed by ISCF on four. (See points standings on B7.)
