THE EDITOR, Sir:

The Westmoreland residents who murdered the alleged goat thieves should be ashamed of themselves for breaking the law and for carrying out this dastardly, illegal and profoundly uncivilised murderous act of monumental proportions.

This savage, outrageous and uncivilised murderous act carried out by these Fort William district residents from the parish of Westmoreland vividly and tragically demonstrates that these residents are uneducated, im-becilic, lawless and reckless persons who have no respect for the law of this country and the nation's court system. Their disgusting behaviour belongs to the Dark Ages many centuries ago.

I am also equally flabbergasted that the Savanna-la-Mar police department has not arrested those Westmoreland residents who were involved in the murders.

It reflects very badly on the Jamaican society when members of the public become idiotic, reckless and savage and murder persons through mob killings.
