National captain Ricardo Gardner trains with the Reggae Boyz at the National Stadium, as they prepare for friendly internationals against El Salvador tomorrow and Guatemala next Wednesday.
The Reggae Boyz are keen to restore their place in football circles, admitted interim coach Theodore 'Tappa' Whitmore at an over 2-1/2-hour training session at the National Stadium yesterday.
"The current team, including the overseas-based players, are aware of the current state of football in Jamaica and they want to give their best to bring football back to where it was on the international scale," noted Whitmore.
He added: "We're looking forward to a good game against El Salvador. For the qualifiers, we will be playing against El Salvador so, basically, it will be a training ground for the qualifiers."

They will play Guatemala on Wednesday.
The El Slavador team arrived last night and will train at the National Stadium this afternoon.
British-based Ian Goodison, Omar Daley and Donovan Ricketts will arrive in time for the second game.
