The Editor, Sir:
Taiwo you have left us in flesh but far from being erased from memory.
He was a giving soul. His office was directly behind mine where the walls didn't go up to the ceiling so we would call out to each other and he was always quick to respond, verbally. Those who knew him would tell you this was an irony as he had a very lazy gait, but that was one trait that made the young man who he was.
Real asset to RE TV
Taiwo was special to us at RE TV as he singlehandedly produced a library of all the company's tapes, and anyone following the growth of the station can imagine what a Herculean task that must have been, as it prides itself on covering every 'nook and cranny' of local entertainment. He worked long hours, patiently categorising and alphabetising, he became our librarian.
I am not surprised his final deed was saying thanks, as he was very 'mannersable'. He would find you a tape for which you said "thanks, Taiwo" and he replied, "No problem". This time the role was reversed as he and his companion went to say thanks. I wished his killers could have seen them and created 'no problems'!
I am, etc.,
