Kabana Restaurant tantalising and enchanting
published: Thursday | November 1, 2007

Keisha Shakespeare-Blackmore, Staff Reporter

Dine outdoors for a relaxed and natural feel at Kabana.

The cuisine is predominantly Jamaican but international dishes are also served. Red peas soup and stamp-and-go are among patrons' favourite dishes. Dining at Kabana will give the feeling of being on the north coast.

At Kabana the food will tantalise your palates and the enchanting décor will entice the eyes.

"Entering the restaurant makes you feel as though you have walked into the Garden of Eden," boasts Carlton Davis, purchasing manager. Throughout the restaurant there are numerous flowers and small trees. There is also a waterfall and a small pond with a mini bridge, surrounded by flowers perfuming the air. In the middle of the restaurant there is a large mango tree that is home to the restaurant's bar. There you can enjoy a drink while watching the the large, flat-screen television or listening to the chirping birds strategically placed throughout the restaurant and completing the garden setting.

At this cosy restaurant, located on Hope Road, there are four colour-coded rooms that are designed for private dinners and meetings. Plus, the restaurant can seat up to 60 guests. Opening hours are 11:00 a.m to 12:00 a.m.
