A meal at Restaurant Cocoro starts with miso soup, one of two appetisers offered during Kingston Restaurant Week.
With the option of dining in or outside on the terrace, enjoying the cool breeze, Restaurant Cocoro offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience for the Gleaner-sponsored Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW).
Cocoro is Japanese for heart, and that's exactly what proprietor Takattiro Sawada offers at the restaurant located at Mayfair Hotel on West Kings House Road - utmost hospitality from the heart. With the capacity to seat 40 patrons, Restaurant Cocoro's cuisine is not a spin-off of Japanese cuisine, it's authentic Japanese prepared by a Japanese chef for the ultimate dining experience - sushi, chopsticks and all (cutlery available on request).
With no specific dress code, and Asian-themed décor with authentic Chinese hardwood furniture, Cocoro is the restaurant for the ultimate, authentic Japanese dining experience for this year's KRW.
