Sick and tired of C&W
published: Tuesday | October 16, 2007

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM really sick and tired of Cable and Wireless. I am a pre-paid user and three out of five times whenever I buy credit I have to call their operator for assistance to put it on.

I often get a message stating that the card is invalid. Cable and Wireless has a service where an operator helps customers with topping up. But I know Cable and Wireless gives nothing away for free, so to me this indicates some kind of problem with their topping-up system. Even during hurricane Dean, I bought $1,000 credit for good measure, but could not put it on the phone for three days - so much for being reliable.

When I ask the operators about the problem, they ask me all kinds of questions as if I can't read and don't know how to do a simple top-up procedure. They need to fix what's wrong and stop frustrating people with what is an already very tedious top-up procedure!

I am, etc.,

CAROLE JOANS
