The Editor, Sir:It is a good thing that I am convinced that Mr. Ken Jones does not subscribe, with any passion or conviction, to the commentary he wrote. The first paragraph in the letter Jones wrote, "Everyone agrees emphatically that nurses do deserve much higher wages ..."
I do not know how a man of his calibre with empirical evidence can arrive at such an extreme conclusion. It is a good thing that I know that man that is born of woman is full of trouble, full of imperfections and needs continued forgiveness. Jones could have fooled me since his very arguments are counterproductive to his initial statements.
Thank you
Thwe Nurses' Association of Jamaica is aware of the nepotism, and friend and friend, and voice for voice, and voice for friend that exist. The Jones character is rampant in our society. Thank you, Mr. Jones.
As my granny says, "di same tick whey lick the black snake will lick the yellow one." I can't believe you have not evolved from three generations as yet! eeh Mr Jones, I hear you loud and clear.
Do not believe for a moment that I AGREE or even subscribe to your believable line of thinking, but you are most certainly accommodated.
I am, etc.,
EDITH ALLWOOD-ANDERSON (Mrs.)
President,
Nurses Association of Jamaica
