Congratulations!
published: Sunday | July 29, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

The Jamaica Pentecostal Union (Apostolic) would like to convey heartiest congratulations to Bishop Carmen Stewart on being conferred the Order of Jamaica in recognition of her contribution to the advancement of social and moral values, as a distinguished servant of Jesus Christ, and a patriotic citizen of Jamaica.

For over 40 years, Bishop Stewart has given insightful and innovative leadership to the Pentecostal Gospel Temple and affiliate assemblies.

In addition to her work in the field of religion, she has served faithfully as Justice of the Peace, Custos of St. Andrew, and acting Governor-General of Jamaica.

Bishop Stewart is indeed a role model for us all, and we congratulate her on being a recipient of such a great honour.

I am, etc.,

Rev. Pat Davidson

Jamaica Pentecostal Union

(Apostolic)

67 Hanover Street, Kingston
