Artful debate
THE TRAIL of artists wound down to the Gallery Barrington last week Thursday. (This time artists, representatives of galleries and marketing personnel met to discuss topical issues on the local art scene).

Engaging, absorbing, very informative

The author of this book, Cyrus Francis Perkins, was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, on January 5, 1813, and lived until 1867. His birth was at a time when the slave system was flourishing and only six years after the transatlantic trade in African captives had ceased.

Dim Sum

Mr. Chin absorbed the news, a lump of frustration forming in his throat. Sitting across from him the loan agent smiled her trained response smile. 'Well, as I said, we can't possibly give you another loan until your outstanding loans have been settled.'
