Bangshowbiz:

Katie Holmes has been named as one of the most influential celebrities in the world.

The 28-year-old actress, wife and mother has been listed alongside 19 other stars including Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Lopez and Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter, Dannielynn on OK! magazine's list of most influential celebrities.

Batman Begins star Katie - wife of Tom Cruise and mother of their one-year-old daughter Suri - was chosen in the beauty queen category for her "refreshing girl-next-door look" and trendy new bob hairstyle.

Comedienne Rosie O'Donnell - who made headlines during her time presenting TV chat show The View - was named among the newsmakers, as were Hollywood A-list couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Dannielynn Hope - the youngest celebrity on the list at 10 months old, was recognised as a survivor for being "at the centre of one of Hollywood's most controversial tragedies".

Her mother, Anna Nicole Smith, died in Florida in February and Dannielynn was the subject of a bitter paternity dispute between Anna's lovers Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead.

American Idol judge Simon Cowell and supermodel-and-TV presenter Heidi Klum were listed among the most influential entertainers as the "people who decide what we watch and listen to".

Sarah Jessica Parker, Justin Timberlake and Kate Moss were chosen as fashion's most influential trendsetters.
