The Editor, Sir: The recent discussion on the radio of young people inflicting themselves with cuts and shedding blood thereby was seen as due to depression. Surely, these teenagers are searching for something and seeking to discover self and meaning to life.

The Editor, Sir: I am a strong believer in the law and oftentimes back the actions of the police, giving them the benefit of the doubt, considering all adversities.I am also experienced enough to know how rushing tojudgment can cause lasting embarrassment.
Critical thinkers, listeners needed
The Editor, Sir: It seems to me that our Ministry of Education could become inadvertently guilty of blocking some of its achievements by its falling into the yearly traps of 'back-to-school' irrational thinking and unrealistic expectations.
