No longer former self

1. Remember the one who bought the boyfriend a spanking new car? Well, he was spotted on the north coast over the weekend and living it up like the old times! Problem is the boyfriend is no longer all that, having been in and out of drug rehab several times over the years and with a number of run-ins with the law, he is only a shadow of his former self.

Who appointed him?

2. Some of his colleagues are asking who appointed the businessman, political, financial ombudsman and arbiter?

Some are livid that in his bid to shore-up support for his party, he has been advising colleagues to ensure their donations to the governing People's National Party are matched by equal sums to the Opposition Jamaica Labour Party!

More sextapes

3. First there were the sex tapes of the murdered envoy. Then there were the tapes of the model dancer and the rudeboy doing the rounds. Now there's a tape of some co-ed students from a rural school indulging in a number of explicit sexual acts.

Cosmetic touch-ups

4. It seems that Brazil is the new world capital for the Nip 'n' Tuck, with a number of leading Jamaicans flying there for age-defying and gravity resistant cosmetic touch-ups. The story is, though, it's not just a number of leading women as, recently, more and more of our men are going for cosmetic surgery.

Where are the stalwarts?

5. The absence of senior JLP officials from the campaign trail is said to be hurting the party. Others are asking why such stalwarts as Pearnel Charles and Babsy Grange are so silent. And some definitely want to see Edward Seaga out there helping to bring supporters back on board.

Locals on Youtube!

6. When news of a new movie to be filmed in Jamaica with an Italian/Canadian director hit the town, many auditioned for it. Mind you, there was no plausible storyline as that kept changing from person to person. Plus, the wannabe director was busy trying to find money to fund the project. Now that snippets of films of those who auditioned are turning up on YouTube, the lawyers have been called in and lawsuits are being pursued.

New allegations

7. New allegations have surfaced surrounding that St. Mary document.

Forget the lovey-dovey

8. Dangerous times are ahead despite all the lovey-dovey appearances as one of those involved is not only determined to win, but is also on record saying "by any and all means necessary".

For the record

9. Did the MP 'box' the mayor or not?

After the polls

10. We gather that the divorce proceedings have been put on hold pending the outcome of the general elections.
