Well said, McKnight
published: Sunday | May 20, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

I enjoy very much the commentary by Franklin McKnight on Irie FM each morning.

On 'Frankly Speaking', Mr. McKnight has the courage to speak out on issues affecting our country.

This morning (May 16) he spoke about the schoolgirls in St. Ann's Bay, who recently were stabbing up one another and the early unwanted pregnancies that destroy the lives of our young women.

I hope that our teachers and parents heard this commentary; for it is only with their stewardship that things will turn around for the better.

As I have said before in a previous letter, our values as a country are all messed up, and only prayers and miracles can save this country which has gone to hell.

I am, etc.,
