Christopher Williams of Jamaica celebrates after winning the 200 metres race at the Super Grand Prix in Doha yesterday.

Williams, the only Jamaican winner at the meet, clocked 20.24 to finish ahead of the United States' Shawn Crawford (20.59), while Gambia's Jaysuma Saidy was third in 20.62.

There were second-place finishes for three other Jamaicans - Michael Frater (10.19) behind Trinidad and Tobago's Darrel Brown (10.13) in the men's 100m; Sheri-Ann Brooks (11.29) behind American Allyson Felix (11.27) in the women's 100m; and Korine Hinds (9:37.01) behind Australia's Donna MacFarlane (9:34.47) in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase.

Shericka Williams (51.12) placed third in the women's 400m won by Felix (50.40). Senegal's Amy Mbacke Thiam (50.99) placed second.
