Business House five-a-side
published: Saturday | May 12, 2007

The 2007 KSAFA Business House football season officially kicks off at 9:00 a.m. today with the one-day five-a-side rally for the Pronto Mix Trophy at the National Water Commission (N.W.C.) field at Mona.

Approximately 20 teams are expected to take part in this year's competition, which was scheduled to start a week ago but had to be put off due to heavy rains.

The N.W.C., which also won the business house division one league title, are the current holders of the five-aside trophy.

The Gleaner, which qualified for all four finals last season, are defending three titles - the all-island, Champion of Champions and Corporate Area Knockout.

This year's competition will see three new teams - the University of Technology (UTech), Special Anti-Crime Task Force and Wisynco Group Limited.

The competition will be an open event. The league competition will kick off next Saturday with the traditional dress parade which will be followedby a double-header at the Cable & Wireless field. Last year's division two champions, Shipping Association, and runners-up, Courts Jamaica, will look to make their mark in division one.
