EDITORIAL - Press vendetta in Guyana
Guyana's Bharrat Jagdeo should have learnt by now that democracy is difficult business, harsh in its demands of those who practise it, but none better to be in; that is, for the citizens of a country who live under a regime of democracy.

'M' is for the million things

My mother died 15 years ago at the age of 89. My father pre-deceased her, so that when she passed on, my brothers, sister and I became orphans. There was a vacuum in my life. Until then, there was an adult to respect. (Neita)

Dancehall: A negative force

The Editor, Sir: I have serious issues with dancehall which I define as the popular Jamaican music expression and associated culture that had its genesis circa 1980.

Issue: When 'Jezebel' begat 'Satan'

As a God-fearing Jamaican, I am deeply offended by the descent into decay among people who call themselves Christians. It seems the PNP is doing everything to ensure that I vote for labour and, might I add, love.
