Open Bible convention March 14

Members of the public are being invited to the 58th annual convention of the Open Bible Standard Churches of Jamaica. The convention starts next Wednesday, March 14, at the church's national complex in Twickenham Park, St. Catherine.

Services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly between next Wednesday and Friday; on Saturday activities will begin at 9 a.m. and on Sunday, March 18, there will be a communion service at the National Arena starting at 10:30 a.m. The praise and worship segment will begin at 8:20 a.m.

This year's convention is being held under the theme, 'Returning to our Spiritual Heritage" and speakers will include the Rev. Dr. Alston Henry, general superintendent of the Open Bible Standard Churches of Jamaica; Bishop Delford Davis, founder/ overseer and senior pastor of Power of Faith Ministries in Portmore, St. Catherine; and the Rev. Dr. Arthur S. Dunk, former general superintendent of the Open Bible Standard Churches of Jamaica.
