Shocked at funeral fuss
published: Wednesday | March 7, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

I was in complete astonishment as I sat and watched the television news recently, where an individual was captured in the process of confronting a pastor, who was on th apparently in the process of carrying out his function at the individual's family member's funeral.

I am not even going to waste my breath on voicing my disgust towards the obvious disrespect and ignorance displayed by some of the individuals towards the place they were in and towards the pastor. It is quite obvious they deem themselves 'big' and 'mighty', yet needed the pastor to 'falla backa dem', how rude!

To the pastor, I say STAND, keep standing, and never allow false evidence appearing real, to prevent you from doing what is right and just in God's sight.

Personally, I agree with you (the Pastor) in not showing up at the graveside.

If you cannot stand for something, you will fall for anything.

I am, etc.,

SYMANTHA BEASON-

ALLWOOD
