Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov scored two goals each yesterday to help Tottenham advance to the FA Cup quarter-finals with a 4-0 win over Fulham.
Keane scored in the seventh and 68th minutes and Berbatov added goals in the 77th and 90th.
Manchester City also advanced, beating League Championship team Preston 3-1.
Keane scored with a hard volley from the edge of the box and then volleyed in another after a header from Mido at Craven Cottage.
Berbatov made it 3-0 by shooting in after his original shot had hit the far post. The Bulgaria striker easily beat Fulham goalkeeper Jan Lastuvka in the final minute to help end Tottenham's three-match losing streak in all competitions.
Brian McBride had Fulham's best chances - with Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson forced to tip his ball over the crossbar in the 17th minute and make another save from the American in the 50th.
Fulham striker Vincenzo Montella was sent off in injury time for a tackle on Keane.
Tottenham have won the FA Cup eight times, the last in 1991.
City scored twice in the closing minutes at Preston.
Bernado Corradi flicked a throw-in to Giorgios Samaras, whose shot deflected in off Preston defender Matthew Hill in the 85th. Stephen Ireland then scored with a powerful volley in the 90th.
Goals
"It took a long time but we got our goals," Manchester City captain Richard Dunne said. "Maybe the third goal at the end probably does flatter us a bit."
Preston took the lead in the eighth minute when a header from Michael Ricketts was pushed away by Manchester City goalkeeper Nicky Weaver and David Nugent put back the rebound.
Michael Ball answered in the 36th by knocking in a rebound off the post after a volley from Corradi had hit the same post. It was Ball's first goal for City in his second game since he moved from PSV Eindhoven on January 31.
Manchester City also reached the quarter-finals last year, but lost to West Ham. City have won the FA Cup four times, the last in 1969.
