300,000 gain HEART certification for CSME
HEART TRUST/ The National Training Agency (NTA) has now trained and certified more than half the number of people it is targeting ahead of the 2008 implementation of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).

India extends US$9m line of credit to Jamaica

The Indian Government has agreed to make a US$9 million (approximately J$608m) line of credit available to Jamaica through the Ex-Im Bank of India. The loan will facilitate the purchase of equipment to support Jamaica's rural water development programme.
