LETTER OF THE DAY - Leaders as fodder for creative expression
The Editor, Sir: In the Gleaner of Saturday, February 3, I got the opportunity to see the cartoon that has caused such a furore, and quite frankly I laughed. I thought it very funny. We need to have a discussion on the ramifications of the cartoon.

Show 'true respect for all'

The Editor, Sir: I was appalled to see the cartoon by Las May in The Gleaner of Thursday, February 1. The illustration in question was a demeaning and disgusting caricature of our Prime Minister, which diminishes us all as Jamaicans...


All-inclusives are a problem!

The Editor, Sir: I would like to challenge your editorial of Saturday, February 3, titled 'All-inclusives not the problem'. Yes, they are in themselves a problem and certainly not just wiping out the small properties!
