Bless Carmen Stewart
published: Sunday | April 9, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

PLEASE ALLOW me to congratulate Reverend Hon. Carmen L. Stewart, Custos of St. Andrew, for 40 years of service in the Christian mission field.

Mrs. Stewart is a lady of calm and peace, always speaking words of kindness and encouragement. Her kind and caring demeanour has stood out and her various programmes within her community speak to the nature of this godly woman.

She was selected to act as governor-general and she did Jamaica proud. She has done much work among Justices of the Peace and lay magistrates.

Justices who fall within her purview are proud to have her as their head and I am certain that I speak for all the other justices in sending her kind thoughts on her 40th anniversary and hoping that God will continue to crown her ensuing years with his kindness and Glory. God bless you richly Mrs. Stewart.

I am, etc.,

ELVENA WILLIAMS

REITTIE

Justice of the Peace
