A new day has dawned
published: Sunday | April 9, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

WHY IS it that so many are having hiccups concerning the testimony of the newly-appointed Prime Minister?

She is in perfect order; well God forbid, if she were appointed by Satan, Jamaica would be hell-bound.

Thank God a new day has dawned. This woman is not ashamed to lift up the name of Jesus, and, for this reason, the Lord will lift her up.

Portia, do not be moved by your detractors. Keep focused on the one who has appointed you to lead the nation of Jamaica.

Whatever He tells you to do, you do. Because as long as you find favour with Almighty God He will cause you to find favour with men.

And remember, when a man's ways please God He causes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

You can't please everyone, so please God, otherwise you will wind up like the stupid man and the donkey.

I am, etc.,
