Dabdoub resigns
published: Monday | March 13, 2006

DABDOUB

ABE DABDOUB, Member of Parliament (MP) for North East St. Catherine, has resigned from the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP).

Dabdoub handed a letter of resignation to General Secretary of the party, Karl Samuda, yesterday, at a meeting in the constituency.

When contacted by The Gleaner, Mr. Samuda confirmed that Dabdoub had resigned, but noted that only he (Dabdoub), could provide the reason for the resignation. Efforts to contact him for a comment failed.

Last year, Mr. Dabdoub also resigned his position as Shadow Minister for Land and Environment following the resignation of former party leader Edward Seaga.
