Berger Paint adds colour to Expo 2005
published: Tuesday | October 4, 2005

Adrian Frater, News Editor

WESTERN BUREAU:

WITH OVER 100 businesses expected to be on show at the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 'Expo 2005', the event promises to be quite a colourful affair. One of the companies expected to add lustre and class to the event is the internationally renowned Berger Paints, which has been known for its quality of service signified by its compelling corporate logo, 'For Lasting Beauty and Protection', since it commenced business in the Caribbean in 1953.

Despite being the largest paint manufacturing company in the English-speaking Caribbean, Berger Paint clearly has no intention of resting on its laurels as it is now seeking to consolidate its market share, and conquer new target markets with the unveiling of its latest range of products.

NEW SYSTEM

"We will be unveiling our Tinted Colorizer Plus System which will increase the company's colour offer to over 4,000," said Paul Alexander, the Managing Director of Berger Paint Jamaica. "We will also be introducing our interactive computer system which will allow consumers to see how their painting job will look before it is done."

SEEKING FEEDBACK

At Expo 2005, Mr. Alexander said the company will be using the opportunity to interact with consumers with a view of getting feedback and suggestions on the various products.

"We are really excited about coming to Montego Bay because Montego Bay is one of our main areas in terms of importance for sales," said Mr. Alexander. "We will also get a chance to examine the appeal of our product range and usage."

THE SECRET

For architects, interior designers, engineers and contractors who have discovered Berger's secret in the mastery of colours, they will get a chance to benefit from the company's free technical and colour advice, which has become one of its trademarks.

For prospective customers, Expo 2005 will offer an opportunity to discover Berger's specialist lines in primers, stain, wood preservatives and enamels, among other products.
