Change in Manning schedule
published: Tuesday | November 2, 2004

ALL GAMES scheduled for today in the ISSA Pepsi/Sports Plus Manning Cup will be played tomorrow because of the nature of the groups and what teams have to do to make it to the semi-final of the competition.

In Group One where Calabar and Wolmer's share second position with three points behind the red-hot defending champions Excelsior, who are on six points, there was to be a staggered game schedule for today which has been deemed inappropriate.

Calabar, and Tivoli who are already out, were scheduled to have a game at the Ferdie Neita Park starting at 1:00 p.m., to be followed by a game between Wolmer's and Excelsior.

However, the games were deemed to closely affect each other and with the best second-place team up for grabs, the games from the other groups had to be rescheduled for the same time as the Group One games.

GAMES RESHUFFLED

The games have been reshuffled so that St. George's College and Spanish Town from Group Three play at Ferdie Neita Park at 1:00 p.m., Bridgeport and Meadow-brook, from Group Three also, will play their final game at Prison Oval.

At 3:00 p.m., Ferdie Neita Park will host the game between Calabar and Tivoli while Prison Oval will have the game between Wolmer's and Exceslior.

Also at 3:00 p.m, the final Group Two encounter between St. Andrew Technical and Mona High will take place at Vauxhall, while Camperdown and Dunoon square off at Excelsior.
