TWO riders have been suspended by the Jamaica Racing Commission following disciplinary action by the Stewards on Tuesday, October 26.
Senior jockey Clive Lynch, who rode second past the post LADY ISIS in the 6th race at Caymanas Park on Monday, October 18 (Heroes Day), was suspended for two race days for causing interference to the favourite HAPHAZARD and NO TEAR at the half-mile, resulting in the disqualification of his mount. Lynch suspension begins tomorrow.
Apprentice Marklee Buchanan picked up one race day for careless riding aboard LISA'S RIGG in the third race on Saturday, October 23. The 2-y-o filly caused interference to QUERIDA at the 300-metre marker (a furlong and a half out) and his suspension also takes effect tomorrow.
