To vote for Erin Mitchell, call 444-4206.

Name: Erin Mitchell (Miss Libresse)

Age: 21

Occupation: Transition between being a student and working

Height: 5' 7"

Vital Stats: 33-27-36

What is your response to the claim that beauty contests are superficial?

The Miss Jamaica World uses beauty to promote issues and other charitable causes. It has very intelligent women competing. It's not all beauty; it's what's behind the beauty as well.

What, in your opinion is your best quality?

I'm outgoing and willing to learn. Someone just intent on learning. I would try to learn from others and to learn from my experiences.

How does being in the competition affect your career goals and how will it affect them if you win?

I'm transitioning, so it's not really affecting my plans. I'm hoping this competition will help to expose me to people in the business world.

What do you think of the addition of the talent, sports and beach beauty mini-competitions to the pageant?

I think it adds something else to the competition. It gives the contestants something to do. The talent, the sports and for persons who are athletic as well.

Which of the mini-competitions do you stand the best chance of winning?

Sports and beach beauty.

Name three must-haves: A good job, family and happiness.

Why should you win the title of Miss Jamaica World?
My combination of beauty and intelligence will be a benefit to the pageant itself, the organisers and their causes.
