Edmund told a stunned Maria that he's proceeding with the risky surgery. Greenlee turned to her good side and was honest with Ryan, then was happily surprised when he asked her to go away with him.

After learning that Holden is thinking of sending her to a mental hospital, Lily fled to see Dusty in Chicago. Holden ordered Lily to come home, but she vowed that no one would keep her from her children. Jordan Sinclair persuaded Barbara to hire him as front man for BRO, then rescued Jennifer from a disastrous interview. Confronted by Barbara, Paul handed over the documents, then quit, prompting a regretful Barbara to beg him to stay. Chris wasn't happy when Alison agreed to testify against Clark. Sarah admitted to Jessica that she set her up to be caught with the letters.

Taylor appeared before Ridge to offer comfort and shocked a tipsy Jackie with a visitation, urging her to tell what she knows about the paternity tests in order to have peace. Deacon overheard a conversation between Jackie and Caitlin about the baby's paternity, and forced the truth out of Jackie. Hector found out that Caitlin is working as an intern at Forrester, and barged in as Caitlin and Thomas shared a romantic lunch. Hector became uncomfortable when Stephanie recognised him. After seeing the debut of Sharpe Designs, Eric refused to produce the fashions, and a shocked and hurt Deacon announced that he's quitting.

Feeling cornered, Marlena fatally stabbed Doug, who died with Hope at his side. Before he succumbed, Doug wrote Marlena's name in his own blood, and hid the clue near Tom Horton's gravestone. John caught a fleeting glimpse as the killer fled and wondered if it could be Doc, but later declared that he didn't recognise the killer. Nicole managed to hide the will and evidence from the safe so that a frustrated Bo found nothing. Kate offered Sami a job in London, which Sami told Kate was just to keep her away from Lucas. Retaliating, Kate accused Sami of coming on to Lucas just to get back at her, and Lucas demanded that Sami admit her true feelings. Patrick was shown to be Bonnie's son.

Carly became furious upon realizing that Alcazar sent Faith to destroy Sonny. Carly was shocked when Ric testified on Sonny's behalf, while Carly warned Jason that if he doesn't speak for her, she'd expose Sonny's battles with depression. Courtney stood up to Faith, who pulled a gun on her. Elizabeth confessed to Ric that she killed Zander, but he convinced her that she might be mistaken. Meanwhile, Emily received a letter from Zander saying that Nikolas killed him. Tracy suggested that Sage pretend to be pregnant with Dillon's child. Tracy convinced Ned to keep his report clearing the Quartermaines of liability a secret so that she can continue to run ELQ.

Confronted by Cassie that either she tell Phillip his baby is alive, or Cassie will, Olivia brought Emma to Ravenwood and introduced Phillip to his child. Phillip appeared grateful on the surface, but raged inside, as he privately vowed to take the baby from Olivia. Reva had a vision that Marah was at the fairgrounds on the fateful night and pulled the trigger, just as Marah arrived at the police station and told Josh and Jeffrey she won't allow Josh to be punished for what she did. Bill jumped at Billy's suggestion that he take over for Josh as manager of Lewis Construction.

Blair survived surgery and learned that her tumor is benign. As Blair questioned her possibly impaired judgment from her illness, Viki urged her to do the right thing, while Evangeline planned to appeal Todd's conviction. Kelly suffered abdominal pains but hid them from Kevin. The killer took Eve hostage and forced her to call Natalie and tell her that Cristian is alive in a Nevada hospital. Natalie immediately fled the safe house. Paul intended to prove that David and Dorian killed Aunt Betsy. Nigel saved his hotel from being demolished by winning a poker game against Asa.

PASSIONS:
Gwen and Rebecca conspired to adopt little Ethan. Fox offered comfort to Theresa as Pilar began packing the family's possessions. Eve objected to Whitney's plan to sing at Liz's club, prompting Whitney to bring up her mother's "affair." Eve warned Liz to stay away from Whitney. Ivy encouraged David to take Grace to Italy, hoping to prevent Sam from discovering that she deceived him. Antonio offered to step aside if it will make Sheridan happy. Lucas and Alistair were both filled with suspicion following a standoff.

After lying to Detective Weber that she was with Sharon on the night in question, Nikki forced Sharon to admit to her that she had a brief affair with Cameron. Nikki then warned Sharon she wouldn't cover for her anymore. Phyllis told Jack that she'll give up her job at Newman if he fires Diane, but Jack believed Diane has changed and refused. Phyllis showed up unexpectedly at Victor's sentencing hearing and asked the judge for leniency, resulting in Victor receiving probation and community service. Jill caught Kay trying to hide a drink in her hand. Shiloh offered J.T. a record contract. When he declined, she gave him her business card.
