Best ways for the future

THE EDITOR, Sir:
TEACHERS OF the Windsor Castle Basic School in the small West Portland community express their views based on the best way for the future for the nation. Mrs. Clarke, principal of the school, explained, "Emphasis must be placed on the younger generation. It will be a fact that a couple years down the road these children will take up vital roles in society and it is therefore our duty to nurture them and push them in the right direction. The students are doing very well at such an early stage, it is a plus for us to continue this grooming operation in order to encourage youngsters that it is cool to have a good education."
The stage is set, our teachers are ready to attack the problem at the grass root level. Come the next decade or more this community as well as Jamaica on a whole will benefit greatly.
