These activities must stop
published: Wednesday | December 31, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

ON THE evening of December 10, 2003 at about 7:30 I arrived from overseas at the Norman Manley International Airport.

To my amazement, at the arrival section on the outside, I was greeted by men in plainclothes, without airport identification tags asking me if I needed a taxi. There were also men taking up passengers' bags to put into cars for a fee.

I think the Airports Authority should put an immediate end to these activities at our international airport.

I am, etc.,

WAYNE DAVIS
