THE EDITOR, Sir:THE SOMERTON Youth Club staged their first ever Senior Citizens Heroes Day Project. It was a huge success and there are a lot of people who made Monday, October 20, 2003 a success for us.
Let us begin by expressing a profound word of thanks to all our many sponsors who donated gifts, goods and food items. Without your generous contributions our project would not have been as successful as it was.
Special thanks to the management team of Sandals Inn. You have given freely of yourselves and your company and we are truly grateful. We hope that your business will always be successful and we look forward to your continued support in our many projects coming up in the year 2004.
We are grateful also to Mr. Cecil Davis, Deputy Mayor of Montego Bay, for all his contributions and the continued support he has given us over the years. Mr. Davis, keep up the good work and keep on being the Good Samaritan that you are.
