'We are proud of you, Nadine'

THE EDITOR, Sir:
NADINE WILLIS, from such a humble background, has rocketed to the top. Her humility is overwhelming. It is indeed a pleasure just to listen to her, "the roots girl", now a star to "the Get Go".
Her achievements as a model has placed her into stardom. She has undergone so many difficulties emotionally but this did not deter her from going forward. She has made such an impact in the modelling world and many should follow her footsteps. Instead of looking at the circumstances that surround us, try to do something to uplift our morale to be better persons for the future and for others to emulate, just as what Nadine did.
I am sure that all Jamaicans are proud of you Nadine. You are very gifted and you also use this gift to make other Jamaicans in other parts of the world realize that in a time when everything seems so wrong, we can still hold the banner high.
Continue to strive for the top and always remember to give God thanks.
