Gabrielle Seaga celebrates her first birthday
published: Friday | October 10, 2003

GABRIELLE SEAGA, daughter of Opposition Leader Edward Seaga and his wife, Carla, celebrated her first birthday on Tuesday, September 16. On Thursday, September 18, she celebrated the event at Serenity Park, Bushy Park, St. Catherine.

Festivities began at 2:30 p.m. in the lush, tropical setting of the nature reserve. The sounds of birds chirping combined with the perfect selection of vintage music to provide a fitting background for the tot's first birthday celebration.

Attired in a pretty pink dress with matching socks and white sandals, she was taken on a tour of the property's zoo, where, in the company of her pint-sized guests, she gazed at and petted birds and a snake in childlike wonder. Meanwhile, doting dad Eddie captured all the memories on three different cameras. Some of the older children went for pony rides.

Like most other one-year-olds, Gabrielle was more interested in grabbing a handful of her birthday cake than cutting it, but she was ably assisted by a playmate and her parents in completing this official task. And when the job was done, she joined everyone in giving herself a well-deserved applause.
