Recording studios are big investments, costing millions of dollars to set up and maintain. What is surprising, though, is that no one knows for sure just how many studios exist locally.
The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) held three days of music finals at the national level recently. Day one of the competition featured mainly instrumentals though some vocal categories were also included.
