Glad for article

The Editor, Sir:
I was so glad and relieved to see Carolyn Cooper's article "Aborting women's rights" in the Sunday Gleaner. I am so tired of the religious diatribe. It is really making Jamaican society quite intolerant, and brainwashed. Very sad indeed. If it were up to some, we would be burnt at the stake.
We continue to pay a heavy price for the audacity of the authority of "man". But women deserve the break. There are too many sad stories that we have to find a way to tell. Many thanks.
