LETTER OF THE DAY - Experiencing the blessing
The Editor, Sir: AT THE NATIONAL Stadium last Wednesday evening, I attended the grand finale of the 'The Way Forward' conference, promoted by Pastors in Action, featuring big-ticket speaker Bishop T. D. Jakes of evangelistic fame. I would like to share some of my observations.

The importance of philosophy

THE EDITOR, Sir: I NOTICED your swipe at literature and philosophy in your editorial of Tuesday, December 9. Since I think literature is better known and understood in this country than philosophy is, I will restrict my comments to philosophy.

Our land is crying out

THE EDITOR, Sir: I write this as an open letter to the Jamaica Council of Churches, the Jamaica Association of Evangelicals, and all other church umbrella groups across Jamaica. Our land is crying out; the situation has become beyond crisis proportions.
