Nestled in the valley surrounded by the cools hills of St Thomas is the small community of Seaforth, the home of Canco Limited. The proud producers of the Linstead Market Jamaica brand, formerly Country Choice.

Canco has been a producer of quality canned and bottled products for more than 20 years. Since 1992, Canco has marketed its premier products under the Country Choice brand. Recently, they have rebranded as Linstead Market Jamaica, and launched 12 new products. Staying true to the exciting and exotic tradition of Jamaican cuisine, the new products are: five soups (red peas, gungo peas, pepperpot, red peas and meat, and gungo peas with meat); two seasoned peas in coconut milk (red and gungo peas); five gourmet jams (sorrel, mango, pineapple coconut, guava pineapple, and banana grapefruit).

Pick of the crop

Most of Canco staff and suppliers are from surrounding communities, giving the company access to the 'pick of the crop' for their products, which are prepared and processed in the traditional Jamaica way.
