Guiding Light: Jonathan has unfinished business in Springfield
When the dynamic Tom Pelphrey left Guiding Light earlier this year, fortunately the writers didn't kill off his character, Jonathan Randall. Not that the death of a character can't be undone in soaps, but by making Jonathan fake his death after his soulmate, Tammy (Stephanie Gatschet), died and leave Springfield, they have made it much easier for Pelphrey to return.

Soap scene

Lily became unresponsive after she overheard Richie and Dr. Chambers discussing a murder plot, and could only say the word 'murder' to a concerned Julia. Ryan and Jonathan pretended to be FBI agents to try and uncover Richie's agenda. As Zach and Greenlee started breaking down the shelter wall, they made a gruesome discovery.
