Governor-General Professor Kenneth Hall yesterday proclaimed the first week of February as 'Restorative Justice Week'.

Approval process slow and tiresome

Mark Kerr-Jarrett, chairman of the St. James Parish Development Committee (PDC), says the multi-layered project approval process was tiresome on developers and hindered growth in parishes, such as St. James.


Councils push ahead with development orders

While parish councils complain bitterly of being paralysed by red tape, at least two are preparing the process to create their own development orders to ease some of the current delays.
