Eastern Confed takes tough action

St. Ann Super League team Brazil manager Bevin King was on Wednesday slapped with a $2,000 fine and placed on probation for the rest of the season by the Eastern Football Confederation.

Two players from Brazil were fined and one suspended. Marlon Thomas was fined $8,000 and handed a one match suspension for abusive language, while Aaron McDonald and Christopher Green were fined $2,000 each.

The club was fined $5,000 for refusal to continue play in a game against Star Cosmos and has forfeited the game by a 3-0 margin.

St. George's Sports Club were also on the receiving end after being fined $5,000 for team misconduct.

Slapped with fines

Official Everton King was handed a similar $5,000 fine for disparaging remarks hurled at the referee and placed on probation for the remainder of the season.

Manchioneal Community Club also came in for some punishment after being slapped with a $10,000 fine for team misconduct and for failing to exercise sufficient crowd control at games.

Port Morant All Stars were also hit in the pocket by the sum of $1,000 for failing to travel with and parade their alternate team gear.

Sand Stars Football Club will also have to fork out $1,000 for failing to travel with and parade their alternate team gear.
