IRAQ: Saddam faces new genocide trial
BAGHDAD (Reuters): SADDAM HUSSEIN will stand trial on new charges of genocide against Kurds in the late 1980s, the court trying him for crimes against humanity said yesterday.

SIERRA LEONE: Taylor hunts for defence lawyers
FREETOWN (REUTERS): Former Liberian leader Charles Taylor is hunting for lawyers to defend him after pleading not guilty to war crimes at a U.N.-backed court in Sierra Leone, his advisers say.
