MANCHESTER RESIDENTS looking to save on their light bills should head to their parish library at Cecil Charlton Hall in Mandeville, this week.
The library will be hosting the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) 'Use Less Pay Less' on Wednesday and Thursday. The exhibition, which will be open to members of the public between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., begins with an opening ceremony on the first day and will showcase actual models of energy-saving devices for domestic and commercial use.
The exhibition, developed by the PCJ's Energy Efficiency Unit, was opened last October at its New Kingston headquarters and was visited by Prime Minister P.J. Patterson, who recommended that it be taken on the road across Jamaica. After Mandeville, the exhibition will be taken to Montego Bay, St. James, and Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland.
