Seminar participants examine the Ultra Tech 3000 that has beads for extra vaginal stimulation and a Rabbit attachment for clitoral excitement. This is good for women who fall in the 30 per cent of those who never achieve an orgasm.
THIS IS the final in a three-part series on the increasingly popular use of sex toys by both singles and couples. This week, we hear the medical expert's view on the use of sex toys and share Ms. Miller's story.
In response to numerous queries about the use of sex toys to enhance the lovemaking process, Flair recently hosted a seminar that explored the myths and facts about these pleasurable battery-opertaed gadgets. The facilitator of the seminar was Norma Miller a Florida-based expert in the business.
In a wide-ranging and tasteful way, she dispelled fears and introduced some new and exciting gadgets for women of all ages present. In the last two editions of Flair, we heard from the women who attended and from some men who had varying reactions to the use of sex toys by their women.
HEAVEN SENT
For some couples, sex toys are heaven sent. This is so for Pansyand Errolwho following his diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer, lost the use of the vital body part. Being a liberated 53-year old, he surprised his wife in bed one night with a hmming sound. She discovered a battery operated bullet and they have been best friends ever since.
There are also some men who after diabetes, lose their libido and for other pre-existing conditions cannot take Viagra. Sex toys are the answer.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Dr. Errol Daley consultant obstetrician/gynaecologist highly recommends them. He is of the view that anything that consenting adults decide to use or do to enhance their sexual experience is perfectly healthy, so long as it is neither physically nor emotionally painful for either partner.
For those who still have hang-ups about using sex toys, Dr. Daley says, "They need to better educate themselves about sexual intercourse."
It is fact that many women have chosen sex toys over casual sexual encounters or in favour of lovemaking that leaves them wanting, Dr. Daley told Flair that it's ok for women to use sex toysby themselves.
