A refurbished new-look bedroom at Breezes Montego Bay. - CONTRIBUTED
SUPERCLUBS' BREEZES Montego Bay has completed a multimillion-dollar facelift, which the Super Inclusive resort group says will give the 124-room resort a more competitive edge in the international tourism destination marketplace.
SuperClubs' Vice President for Marketing and the Environment, Zein Nakash, made the announcement in a statement today - but declined to give financial details.
The upgrade took a year, and encompassed rooms and public areas.
All rooms and suites have been refitted with new mahogany furniture and bed linen, and bathrooms have been redone in a brighter tropical motif, Mrs. Nakash reports.
The resort's main dining room, 'Jimmy's Buffet', now boasts a more colourful variety of furniture, drapes, table linen and upholstery, Mrs. Nakash says, and the pool deck, and bar and grill area has been resurfaced and remodelled with cosier furnishings.
FULL UPGRADE
Breezes Montego Bay's gymnasium and meeting room have been fully upgraded with more cutting-edge, high tech equipment, and the resort's rooftop Jacuzzi got a total overhaul.
Marilyn Cornelius, Breezes Montego Bay's general manager said, "The project has added a fresh new flavouring and dimension to the resort's overall ambience."
